Who is Norbert Brettschneider?
Hi, I'm Norbert (Br3tt) — a full-stack developer based in Hungary, currently building my way into a career in software development. My path here wasn't a straight line. Before writing code, I spent years in operations-adjacent roles — food service, cleaning supervision, IT support, and professional driving — work that taught me how to stay reliable under pressure, communicate clearly with people from all backgrounds, and solve problems on the fly.
In 2020 I started a Computer Science degree while working, and in 2022 I landed my first paid frontend role. Since then I've been building real projects, taking on freelance and consulting work, and deepening my skills in modern web and AI technologies — all while working full-time.
I'm not going to pretend I have a decade of engineering experience. What I do have is a proven ability to learn fast, ship real things, and stick with something long enough to get good at it. Currently, I'm working as a logistics driver while building my dev career on the side — freelancing, building personal projects (including this site), and looking for a full-time full-stack role where I can bring the same reliability and drive to a development team.
